Guide the air flow into the impeller. The air inlet is a structural part made of steel plate, which has two main shapes, which are mainly shown in the shape of the fitting with the impeller inlet: straight and circular, which are commonly used at present. The air inlet is convergent, and this shape can uniformly speed the air flow into the impeller to improve the stability of the air flow. The axial and radial clearance between the air inlet and the impeller inlet should be specially controlled because of the internal leakage of gas, to prevent the pressure and efficiency of the centrifugal fan from being reduced due to improper clearance.
